THE LITTLE LION EXPERIENCE
If past clients could sum up their experience in two words many have said “easy and fun” for both them and their child. In three steps you book your session online, show up to the studio (with easy parking and access) and receive your gallery within two weeks. When booking you answer questions to help us curate a Petite Closet with wardrobe choices for your Little Lion. Once you arrive for your session the first 5-7minutes is getting your child changed and warming up to the new environment. The remainder of the session is child led. Based on their cues we give them space, play with them or offer books or specific toys to encourage their exploration and interactions. You receive your gallery of images within two weeks from your session date and from there you can directly download, share and order prints. Last but not least, book your next session - these little ones grow up fast (and sessions book up even quicker)!
PETITE CLOSET
A Petite Closet is curated for each Little Lion from clothing size, texture and color preferences to books and toys to best fit their age and stage of development. Upon booking you fill out a brief questionnaire to help me prepare the wardrobe and Petite Closet for you. Wardrobe for each session is provided up to size 8. If your child wears a size beyond 8 I’m happy to send you a visual direction of wardrobe inspiration for you to pull from at home.

The petite session is just for your little lion - the ones who have fleeting attention spans - or for the parent who has heart eyes over the recent curls forming on your lion’s head and want a beautiful documentation of their growth.
KIDS SESSION
The kids session allows for multiple children or sibling groups and is just for kids. More time means more documentation and more play. This session is really about the little lions and documenting their play, details and personality.
FAMILY SESSION
This session is catered to families - parents who want to play with your children, be in photos, have documentation of your bond or stage in life together - this is the perfect session for you.

SEASONAL FLORAL SESSION
Weekend mini sessions every few months with seasonal floral installations.
DREAM DIRECTIVE SESSION
Experiential photo sessions thoughtfully curated to represent seasons outside and in your life encouraging imagination and connection with your Little Lions yielding images found at the intersection of fine art and photojournalism.

FAQS
DO YOU DO SESSIONS OUTSIDE?
Yes, but only for seasonal mini sessions on occasion. Join the mailing list to be the first to know when they are available. It’s one weekend a season, usually 10-12 sessions.
WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO LOCATED?
Just off the corner of 50th and France in Edina, MN, with easy parking lot access in back. Some of our neighbors include Pacifier and Oh Baby as well as June Resale, Grethen House and Evereve for shopping. Dine at Lynhall, Pajarito, Salute or Coalition. The perfect location to make a day out of your Little Lion session.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR GALLERY?
It takes about 2 weeks for you to receive your full gallery.
DO YOU DO NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY?
We do not do the traditional posed newborn images. We do, however, take candids of parents with babies in the studio. Traditional posed newborn photography requires a session that is a few hours and an expertise in newborn posing safety.
WHAT aGE/sIZE rANGE dO YOU hAVE CLOTHING FOR?
Little Lion offers Petite Closets for children up to size 8. After kindergarten children are more interested in what they have at home. This doesn’t mean other ages and sizes aren’t welcome- ALL ages and sizes are welcome in the studio. Wardrobe inspo for children can be sent as well as links to clothing to purchase if you would like!
WHAT IS THE PETITE CLOSET?
The Petite Closet is a small closet standing 3 feet tall curated with clothing specifically for your child's session. From size and functionality to texture and color of clothing to books and toys it’s curated specifically for your Little Lion to make the session fun, easy and enjoyable for both children and parents.
